PAL to transport COVID-19 vaccines from Beijing

Aviation Updates Philippines – Philippine Airlines on Tuesday said it will deploy a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to pick up the donated 400,000 Sinovac vaccines from Beijing, China.

PAL flight PR-360 is scheduled to depart from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila today. Flight PR-361, which will have the vaccines on-board, will arrive in the Philippines on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at 7:25 am (estimated).

The mission makes PAL the first Filipino carrier to transport COVID-19 vaccines from an international hub bound for the Philippines, marking another historic milestone in the flag carrier's 80-year operation.

"We are glad to be of service to the nation through vaccine transport -- a vital step towards the country's healing and recovery," PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said.
