PAL Express to resume Catarman flights

National flag carrier Philippine Airlines plans to recommence flights between Manila and Catarman beginning Friday, September 18, while implementing "new normal" guidelines.

According to PAL, the Manila-Catarman-Manila service would operate once-a-week every Friday from September 18.

Flights to the small airport in Northern Samar will be operated on-board the 86-seat De Havilland Canada Dash 8-400 propjet. 

Flight 2P-2079 departs from the Centennial Terminal in Manila at 8:25 am and arrives in Catarman at 10:00 am. The return flight, 2P-2080 departs after 20 minutes and lands back at the capital at 11:50 am.

Passengers on PAL flights are obliged to practice the Fly Safe "new normal" practices.

Face masks and face shields must be worn at all times – off-airport and on-airport.

Guests are also advised to arrive at the airport three hours or four hours early for domestic and international flights, respectively.
