Pan Pacific, Royal Air to expand international flights

Aviation Updates Philippines – Philippine carriers Pan Pacific Airlines and Royal Air Philippines are set to launch new international flights from the Philippines to China and South Korea as it copes with the increasing demand of Chinese and Korean tourists in the country.

Routesonline revealed Pan Pacific Airlines' intends to fly from Clark, Philippines to Muan, South Korea starting December 22, 2019. The route will be operated twice weekly every Thursday and Sunday on-board the 180-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft.

On the other hand, Royal Air Philippines, which recently transitioned into an all-Airbus fleet, is eyeing to launch three chartered flights to China for the last few months of 2019. All flights will be operated by its 150-seat Airbus A319-100 aircraft.

From November 25 to December 30, 2019, Royal Air will fly from Clark to Guangzhou every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. The airline will also operate one-off flights to Yichang from Kalibo on November 29, 2019. An international charter service from Manila to Nanning will also operate from November 25 to December 29, 2019 on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

Pan Pacific already opened reservations for its Clark-Muan route through its online booking platform. However, Royal Air did not display their routes online and may only be available through their ticketing offices.
