According to a press release in Cebu Pacific's own website, the airline will add more flights to and from their hubs in Manila, Cebu, Iloilo and Davao. The increase of flights and seating capacities will cope with the increasing demand for travelers this summer.

Cebu Pacific will add 7 weekly flights for its Manila to Tagbilaran route for a total of 28 weekly flights starting April 1, 2016. Tagbilaran is popular as it is home for Bohol's Chocolate Hills, a perfect place for viewing this vacation time.

Meanwhile, the airline's Cebu to Davao flights will get an increase of 19 weekly flights for a total of 51 weekly flights beginning May 1, 2016. Davao City is the premier gateway of the southern islands of the Philippines.

Some flights between Cebu and Iloilo are being upgraded from ATR to A320 flights in order to increase seating capacity. However, Cebu Pacific's Cebu-Iloilo route will still receive additional 2 weekly flights.

Cebu Pacific also plans to increase passenger traffic with three additional weekly flights between Davao and Iloilo, and two weekly frequencies between Davao and Zamboanga. Four weekly frequencies between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi will also be added starting May 1.

International Expansion

Passengers will have more choices when flying to Singapore as Cebu Pacific will increase frequencies from Davao and Iloilo to the Lion City. Starting March 30, 2016, the Iloilo-Singapore route will have a total of three weekly flights, from the current two weekly service. Same goes for the Davao-Singapore route which will have three weekly flights also.

The Davao-Singapore sector has been proved successful as passenger demands where above the airline's expectations since it was launched last December 17, 2015. Cebu Pacific is expecting to pick up more passengers on the route especially during the summer season.

"We hope to encourage our valued guests to cross more destinations off their travel bucket list, with our additional flights this summer. Passengers can maximize their vacation by taking advantage of our lowest year-round fares and widest flight network in the Philippines," Atty. JR Mantaring, CEB Vice President for Corporate Affairs said.
