Philippine low-cost carrier Royal Air Philippines has announced the launch of daily flights between Manila and Taipei Taoyuan International Airport, beginning on January 16, 2024. The airline will operate the route with Airbus A320 aircraft.

The new flights will depart Manila at 6:15 AM and arrive in Taipei at 8:35 AM. The return flight will depart Taipei at 7:40 PM and arrive in Manila at 10:25 PM.

Royal Air Philippines is the latest Philippine airline to enter the Manila-Taipei market, which is currently served by Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific, and AirAsia Philippines. The new flights are expected to boost competition on the route and offer travelers more affordable options.

The launch of the new Manila-Taipei flights is part of Royal Air Philippines’ expansion plans in the international market.

This month, the airline launched three new international routes from Hong Kong: Clark-Hong Kong, Cebu-Hong Kong, and Davao-Hong Kong. The airline’s Airbus A319 aircraft are currently deployed on these routes.
