Singapore Airlines to launch flights to Brussels, Belgium

Next spring, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will return to Brussels, Belgium with the launch of its own non-stop flights from Singapore.

In a release, SIA announced that its newly announced Singapore-Brussels service will start from February 5. Using Airbus A350-900 aircraft, the airline will operate four weekly flights on the route.

SIA will use its long-haul variant of its A350-900s equipped with 253 seats in a three-class configuration – 42 Business, 24 Premium, and 187 in Economy.

“Brussels is an important European economic and political centre, and the launch of this service adds another historical and charming city to SIA’s list of destinations. It also gives our customers who are travelling from Europe an additional point to connect to Singapore, as well as the wider Asia-Pacific region via our hub at Changi Airport. SIA will continue to review its network and find opportunities to offer more options for our customers,” said Dai Hao Yu, Acting Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines.

With the launch of its route to Brussels, SIA will make its return to the capital of Belgium after a 20-year hiatus. The addition of Brussels will increase Singapore Airlines’ destinations in Europe to 13.
