Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air announced the resumption of two routes from its Iloilo hub, further expanding inter-island connectivity between the central and southern parts of the country.

Starting June 23, Cebu Pacific will fly directly from Iloilo to Puerto Princesa four times weekly, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. The airline will also operate flights between Iloilo and Cagayan De Oro three times a week starting June 24, every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

With two more routes, Cebu Pacific will now directly fly to six domestic destinations from Iloilo. The airline currently operates direct flights to Manila, Cebu, Davao, and General Santos from Iloilo.

Travelers can book their flights from Iloilo to Puerto Princesa and Cagayan De Oro, and vice versa, for as low as P27 one-way base fare until March 10, 2023, as part of the airline’s ongoing seat sale to celebrate its 27th anniversary. The travel period is from April 1 to September 30, 2023.

According to the low-cost carrier, passengers with existing Travel Funds may use these to pay for flights and other add-ons. Other payment options such as payment centers, credit or debit cards, and e-wallets may also be used.

Cebu Pacific is set to restore 100% of its pre-COVID network and capacity in March 2023. It now flies to 34 domestic and 25 international destinations, spanning across Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.

The announcement is expected to boost tourism and economic activity in the region, as it will provide more travel options to both tourists and residents alike. As the Philippines continues to ease travel restrictions and more people become fully vaccinated, the demand for travel is expected to increase, and CEB is ready to meet this demand.

Passengers can book their flights now via bit.ly/CebuPacificSale.
