The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that as of Sunday evening, Tropical Storm Enteng was located 100 kilometers northeast of Catarman, Northern Samar, or 115 km east southeast of Virac, Catanduanes, as of early Monday.

The storm is moving northwestward at 15 km per hour, with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near the center and gusts of up to 70 kph.

PAGASA weather specialist Veronica Torres stated, “While Enteng is not expected to directly affect Metro Manila, it may enhance the southwest monsoon.”

The weather bureau has raised Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 in 11 areas, including parts of Cagayan, Aurora, Quirino, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, Biliran, and northeastern Leyte.

Passengers affected by the cancellations are advised to contact their respective airlines for rebooking options and further information.

As Tropical Storm Enteng continues to move along Luzon’s eastern seaboard, further flight disruptions may occur. Travelers are urged to stay informed about weather updates and check with their airlines for any changes to their flight schedules.
