Budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced plans to expand its domestic network from Iloilo International Airport. The airline will resume flights between Iloilo and Tacloban and launch a new direct service connecting Iloilo and Zamboanga.

The Iloilo-Tacloban route will operate four times weekly starting October 27, 2024, with flights scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The new Iloilo-Zamboanga service will commence on October 28, 2024, operating three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

These additions will bring the total number of direct flights from Iloilo to 11 by the end of November, enhancing the city’s connectivity to other parts of the Philippines and international destinations.

Xander Lao, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer, stated, “The addition of our new domestic routes from Iloilo aligns with our mission of making air travel accessible to a wider range of passengers. We look forward to flying more Juans across our growing inter-island network and better enabling them to discover the beautiful islands of the Philippines.”

To promote the new routes, Cebu Pacific is offering a promotional fare of PHP1 (excluding fees and surcharges) for one-way base tickets. This offer is available from September 4 to September 15, 2024, for travel between October 27, 2024, and May 31, 2025.

Cebu Pacific has significantly expanded its regional network, adding new routes from secondary hubs like Clark and Davao, in addition to Iloilo. The airline is also poised to resume flights from Iloilo to Hong Kong and Singapore in the third quarter of this year.
