Cebu Pacific suspends flights in Dipolog due to runway damage

AviationUpdatesPH.com – Cebu Pacific announced on Wednesday evening that it will suspend operations in Dipolog Airport on October 19, 2023, due to runway surface damage.

The following flights are cancelled:

  • DG 6603/6604: Cebu – Dipolog – Cebu
  • 5J 703/704: Manila – Dipolog – Manila

The airline said that safety is of paramount concern and that operations will be suspended until it receives verification that the runway is safe for landing and take-off.

Affected passengers have been informed and provided with the following options through the Manage Booking portal on the Cebu Pacific website:

  • Flight Rebooking / Rerouting: Rebook or reroute any flight bound for Dipolog for free. Should the travel period extend beyond thirty (30) days from the original flight date, a fare difference may be applied.
  • Travel Fund: Store the full amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (example: baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)
  • Refund: Full refund of your ticket.
