AviationUpdatesPH.com – Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) is gearing up to restart its Manila-Tuguegarao route, offering daily flights starting from October 29, 2023. "We are looking forward to serving Tuguegarao and the people of Cagayan Province with convenient daily flights to and from Manila starting this October," remarked Captain Stanley K. Ng, PAL President & Chief Operating Officer.

The enhanced air connectivity is expected to boost travel not only within the Cagayan Valley region but also between Philippine centers like Cebu, Davao, Bacolod, and major Asian cities such as Bangkok, Jakarta, and Hong Kong.

Operating on the Manila-Tuguegarao route will be flight numbers PR 2014 and PR 2015. Both flights will be serviced by Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring Comfort Class (12 seats) and regular Economy Class (168 seats) options.

The daily flights will offer morning departures, with flight PR 2014 leaving Manila at 09:05 AM and reaching Tuguegarao at 10:10 AM. The return flight, PR 2015, will depart Tuguegarao at 10:50 AM and arrive in Manila at 11:50 AM.

Tuguegarao City, the capital of Cagayan Province, stands to benefit significantly from this renewed air link. With a population exceeding 180,000 residents, the city is a rapidly growing urban hub in the Philippines.

PAL's decision to resume this route follows a prior service that operated from October 2014 to June 2019, underscoring the demand for improved air connectivity to Tuguegarao.

In addition to the Manila-Tuguegarao route, PAL continues to offer travel options for Northern Luzon. The airline provides twice daily flights between Manila and Laoag City, three weekly flights connecting Cebu and Baguio City, and daily flights between Manila and Basco, Batanes.

Travelers interested in booking flights can do so through various channels, including the official PAL website, the PAL mobile app, the PAL hotline at (02) 8855 8888, or accredited travel agents.

With this renewed commitment to connectivity, PAL is poised to play a pivotal role in supporting economic growth and accessibility in the region, reaffirming its dedication to enhancing travel options for both local residents and tourists.
