In an advisory, Philippine Airlines stated that departures (check-in) and arrivals (baggage claim) for its domestic flights from Manila Terminal 2 to Antique, Basco, Busuanga (Coron), Calbayog, Catarman, Siargao will be at the South Wing of the terminal.

With the shift, Philippine Airlines will use both wings of Manila Airport Terminal 2. All flights to other domestic destinations operated by the airline at Terminal 2 will remain at the North Wing.

The terminal assignments are part of the Manila Airport's terminal rationalization program. Philippine Airlines' international flights – which previously used the North Wing of Terminal 2 - were moved to Terminal 1 on June 16. The airline's domestic flights were shifted to the North Wing on July 1. AirAsia Philippines and Royal Air Philippines also moved their domestic flights from Manila to the South Wing  the same day.
