The airline last operated flights to Laoag in January 2017. The launch of the Laoag route will mark Cebu Pacific's 35th domestic destination, and the Airbus A320 fleet will be deployed for the daily Manila-Laoag service.

In a press release, Xander Lao, the President and Chief Commercial Officer of Cebu Pacific, expressed his excitement about being able to bring more tourists to Laoag, a city that plays a crucial role in preserving the rich history and culture of the Philippines.

"We hope that the launch of the Laoag route will encourage more people to travel and experience the Ilocos region," Lao said.

The flight schedule for the Manila-Laoag service is as follows: 5J-404 departs from Manila at 4:05 AM and arrives in Laoag at 5:25 AM. The return flight, 5J-405, departs from Laoag at 6:05 AM and arrives back in Manila at 7:25 AM.

It is worth noting that since 2017, Philippine Airlines has solely operated flights to Laoag through PAL Express. With Cebu Pacific resuming its operations to Laoag, travelers now have another low-cost option to fly to the capital city of the province of Ilocos Norte.
