Starting October 31, the Philippine-based budget carrier will resume flights between Manila and Kota Kinabalu. The flights will operate on a twice-weekly schedule.

“We invite everyJuan to experience another side of Malaysia. Adventure seekers are up for a treat – from island hopping to nature tripping to trekking – our flight resumption to Sabah, Malaysia’s capital, will make all these within reach,” said Xander Lao, Chief Commercial Officer, Cebu Pacific.

The addition of the flights to Kota Kinabalu will mark the 19th international destination Cebu Pacific has resumed services to since the COVID-19 pandemic, and the 2nd destination in Malaysia. The airline currently operates flights to the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur.

Travelers bound for Kota Kinabalu are advised to download and register for the MySejahtera mobile app to indicate their COVID-19 risk status.

Cebu Pacific reports it currently is operating 88% of its pre-pandemic capacity, with a network of 34 domestic and 19 international destinations.
