Cebu Pacific has filed for thrice-weekly flights between Manila and Sydney. The Manila-Sydney leg will operate every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Meanwhile, the Sydney-Manila leg will operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Flight 5J-39 will depart from Manila at 11:20 pm (UTC+8) and arrive in Sydney at 9:50 am (UTC+10) the next day. The return leg, 5J-40, will depart from Sydney at 11:20 am (UTC+10) and arrive back in Manila at 5:50 pm (UTC+8).

The airline will also deploy its 459-seat Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, the newest addition to Cebu Pacific's growing all-neo fleet. The A330neo features a refreshed Cebu-inspired cabin interior and ergonomically-designed Recaro seats with USB Type A and Type C ports for charging.

Aside from Sydney, Cebu Pacific is resuming flights to more international destinations. The low-cost carrier recently relaunched flights to Hanoi and Bali last May 2, 2022.
