Cebu Pacific will add more flights to the Visayas and Mindanao as it aims to restore 100 percent of the airline’s pre-pandemic capacity this summer, allowing passengers to seamlessly fly direct to various destinations without connecting through Manila.

Beginning April, the low-cost airline has relaunched flights from Cebu to four domestic destinations: Calbayog, Siargao, Puerto Princesa, and Legazpi. On the other hand, Cebu Pacific has reopened direct flights from Davao to Bohol, Iloilo, and Zamboanga.

The airline also plans to resume Davao to Cagayan de Oro flights next month.

“We are happy to keep enabling everyJuan to safely fly across our largest Philippine network. Cebu and Davao are very important for us as they serve as our main hubs in the Vis-Min area. We know that now is the perfect time for us to resume these direct flights while we see an increase in overall passenger confidence,” said Xander Lao, Chief Commercial Officer at Cebu Pacific.

“We are positive that this expansion in routes and frequencies would further enable Cebuanos and Dabawenyos alike to fly to their favorite destinations in the country – whether to visit family and friends, or go on much-needed vacations over the summer season,” added Lao.

With the new routes, Cebu Pacific would now fly to 21 domestic destinations from the Cebu hub and six domestic destinations from the Davao hub.
