Cebu Pacific ramps up flights to Iloilo

Aviation Updates Philippines – The Philippines’ leading airline, Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB), continues to rebuild its domestic network to address travel demand, this time by increasing its flights to Iloilo from Manila from twice to three times daily starting December 16, 2021.

The additional daily flight, 5J 447 is scheduled to fly out of Manila at 6:30AM and land at the Iloilo International Airport at 7:45AM. Its return flight to Manila, 5J 448 departs Iloilo at 8:20AM, and is estimated to arrive at the NAIA Terminal 3 at 9:30AM.

“We are grateful to Gov. Arthur Defensor, Jr. for granting our request to ramp-up our flights in and out of Iloilo, on top of streamlining travel requirements for passengers. This additional daily frequency from Manila will surely contribute to the economy of the Province of Iloilo,” said Michael Ivan S. Shau, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Cebu Pacific.

CEB continues its once-weekly flight between Cebu and Iloilo every Saturday.

“We are also happy to share that over the past two weeks, 80% of our passengers from Manila to Iloilo are fully-vaccinated. This is indeed a positive indicator enabling us to continue working closely with our stakeholders to rebuild everyJuan’s trust and confidence in air travel,” added Shau.

CEB has attained 100% vaccination rate for its active flying crew through its very own employee vaccination program, JG Summit COVID Protect, and various partnerships with local government units in the country.
