Cebu Pacific to continue flights as scheduled amid new restrictions

Aviation Updates Philippines – Cebu Pacific Air on Sunday reassured its flights will continue as scheduled amid tighter quarantine restrictions due to rising COVID-19 cases in the country. The Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) has announced stricter guidelines beginning March 22, until April 4, 2021.

"Cebu Pacific will continue to operate its flight schedule as planned for the next three (3) days," the airline's advisory released on March 21 said. However, passengers who wish to postpone their flights and those who are travelling for non-essential reasons may opt for the following:
  1. Rebook - Rebook for travel at no additional cost, following CEB's permanent removal of change fees. A minimal fare difference may apply.
  2. Travel Fund  - Store the amount in a virtual CEB wallet valid for two (2) years and use this to either book a new flight or pay for add-ons (e.g. baggage allowance, seat selection, etc.)
  3. Refund - Due to the high volume of requests, the process may take up to seven (7) months from date of request.
