#UlyssesPH: PAL cancels 17 international, domestic flights

Aviation Updates Philippines – National flag carrier Philippine Airlines, on Tuesday, announced the cancellation of 17 international and domestic flights due to the threats of Typhoon Ulysses (international name: Vamco).

In its Typhoon Advisory No. 2 released on Tuesday evening, PAL said the cancellation of flights come as a precautionary measure to reassure the safety of passengers and personnel for areas which may be directly affected by the typhoon.

The following flights are cancelled, as of November 10, 2020 at 9:00 PM:

NOVEMBER 11 (Wednesday) 
DOMESTIC FLIGHTS CANCELLED 
PR2923 Manila – Legazpi
PR2924 Legazpi - Manila

NOVEMBER 12 (Thursday)
INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS CANCELLED 
PR511 Manila – Singapore
PR502 Singapore – Manila
PR890 Manila - Taipei
PR891 Taipei - Manila
PR412 Manila – Osaka Kansai
PR411 Osaka Kansai - Manila
PR428 Manila – Tokyo Narita
PR427 Tokyo Narita – Manila

NOVEMBER 12 (Thursday)
DOMESTIC FLIGHTS CANCELLED 
PR1845 Manila – Cebu
PR453 Manila – General Santos
PR1813 Manila - Davao 
PR2521 Manila - Cagayan de Oro
PR2997 Manila - Zamboanga 
PR2985 Manila - Tacloban
PR2959 Manila - Cotabato

Given the fluidity of the situation, further changes are expected as the airline continues to monitor the developments on the typhoon situation. 

Passengers are advised to continuously check their flight status through the PAL website at www.philippineairlines.com or through the contact information provided beforehand.
