AirSWIFT flights still suspended
Aviation Updates Philippines – On Friday, regional boutique carrier AirSWIFT Airlines announced it would continue to suspend all flights to and from El Nido, Palawan, until July 31, 2020.
This, after the municipal government of El Nido directed the closure of Lio Airport, AirSWIFT's main hub, for the rest of the month.
Affected passengers on AirSWIFT flights may avail of the following options:
- Rebook your flight date after July 31, 2020, within one-year ticket validity. Penalties and fare difference waived.
- Have your tickets placed in a travel fund that you may use for future travel with two-year validity.
- Refund the full cost of the ticket, except Travel Insurance, if applicable.
On the other hand, guests who booked through AirSWIFT's website and reservation hotline are advised to contact the airline at [email protected] and through temporary lines at +639178592816, +639178592760, +639178065745, +639178168763 or +639178222141 to discuss travel options.
Those who booked via accredited travel agents are advised to contact their travel agents for the options mentioned above.
"We assure our passengers that we are committed to delivering our service with utmost safety and convenience despite the current challenges that we are facing," AirSWIFT said.
Passengers are advised to "keep your lines open and check your emails provided upon booking, as we send regular flight status and advisories."
