PSI Air 2007, Inc. begins commercial operations
Aviation Updates Philippines – While the Philippines continues its fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a dire need to sustain air cargo operations in the country to transport essential equipment. Cargo airline PSI Air 2007, Inc. took this opportunity to launch its commercial cargo operations.
On March 28, 2019, PSI Air 2007 announced over social media that the airline has already begun commercial cargo operations. The airline currently operates two Boeing 737-348(QC) (with registries RP-C9110 and RP-C8110) and one Boeing 727-227(A)(F) (with registry RP-C7110).
"PSI Air 2007, Inc. is proud to announce that we have [begun] our [commercial] cargo operations this morning," the airline said in a Facebook post.
It added: "In these trying times, we will do our best to make sure the supply chain remains active so that the good people of the Philippines will not have to worry about the availability of products and medicines. Our Service. Your Power."
According to PSI Air 2007, the airline will operate flights to Cebu, Clark, Davao, and Manila, among others. From April 20 to 21, PSI Air 2007 will fly a Boeing 737 cargo run from Manila to Cebu and Davao.
Recently, the airline has joined the government's efforts to contain COVID-19. On April 7, PSI Air 2007 delivered 3,722 kilograms of medical supplies and personal protective equipment (PPE) from Mactan-Cebu to Iloilo via RP-C9110.
