According to a press release posted on the ANA website, flights to the following destinations will move to Terminal 2 beginning March 29, 2020:

  • North America: New York-JFK, Washington-Dulles, Los Angeles, Houston-Intercontinental, Seattle/Tacoma, Vancouver
  • Europe: London-Heathrow, Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt, Munich, Moscow-Domodedovo, Vienna, Stockholm-Arlanda, Istanbul
  • Asia and Oceania: Taipei-Songshan, Ho Chi Minh City, Jakarta-Soekarno-Hatta, Singapore, Sydney, Beijing-Capital, Qingdao

Flights to the following destinations, meanwhile, will remain at Terminal 3:

  • North America: Chicago-O'Hare, San Francisco, San Jose, Honolulu
  • Europe: Milan-Malpensa
  • Asia and Oceania: Seoul-Gimpo, Hong Kong, Manila, Bangkok-Suvarnabhumi, Kuala Lumpur-International, Delhi, Shanghai-Pudong, Shanghai-Hongqiao, Shenzhen, Guangzhou

"The changes reflect the increase in international flights operated by ANA and will further improve convenience for passengers who will now be able to connect to flights out of Terminal 2," the airline said in its press release.

Due to these changes, the airline advised its passengers to check which terminal their flight will be departing from before arriving at the airport. Similarly, transit passengers with connecting flights to ANA's other international destinations must also check their connecting flight's terminal assignment to avoid disruptions to their travel plans.

ANA currently operates all international flights out of Terminal 3 (previously known as the International Terminal). Terminal 2, which currently houses all of ANA's domestic flights, has been upgraded with new customs and immigration facilities as well as dedicated gates for international flights.

"ANA has expanded its international service in order to meet the growing demand for travel to Japan, and the changes at Haneda Airport will equip us to meet passenger needs. We are excited about the prospect of strengthening our ability to offer convenient and efficient travel to our growing customer base," ANA Senior Vice President Masaki Yokai said in a statement.
