Philippines AirAsia to Launch Flights to Iloilo
Aviation Updates Philippines - Low-cost airline Philippines AirAsia, is set to launch direct flights between Manila and Iloilo starting October 1, 2017. The airline will be operating three daily flights to Iloilo using its 180-seat Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
“The addition of Manila–Iloilo route will further expand our domestic footprint in the Visayas region following our expansion in Cebu via the launch of international and domestic flights,” Philippines AirAsia Chief Executive Officer Dexter Comendador said.
“AirAsia’s signature low fares, superb service and seamless connectivity here in the country and across Asean including China, Australia, India and much more will facilitate travel aspirations of our guests from Western Visayas through Iloilo’s modern airport and help stimulate demand for travel and tourism,” he added.
The airline is offering promo fares for as low as Php 999 until August 27 with travel period from October 1, 2017 to August 28, 2018.
Philippines AirAsia has been expanding its route network in the Visayas region. Last summer, the airline launched flights from Cebu to Davao, Boracay, and Palawan. Flights from Cebu to Taipei and Singapore were launched last year as well.
