Cebu Pacific's new twice-weekly flights offer a timely option for travelers during the upcoming holiday season.

The flights will utilize Cebu Pacific's Airbus A320-200 aircraft, featuring an all-economy configuration with 180 seats.

Flight time between Davao and Singapore is approximately three hours and thirty-five minutes.

Currently, SilkAir, a Singapore Airlines subsidiary, is the only other airline operating direct flights between these destinations.

During the Kapehan Sa Dabaw at the SM City Davao Annex on Monday, Lisette Marques, Davao City tourism officer, said:

We would like to see Singaporean market to increase with the opening of this new international direct flight.

According to Roberto P. Alabado III, Department of Tourism (DOT) regional director, a delegation led by the DOT, representatives from the Davao City Tourism Operations Office, Cebu Pacific, and other private stakeholders conducted a product update and marketing initiative in Singapore to promote the route and bolster Davao City's tourism offerings.

Alabado added:

We did a product update and introduced to Singapore business and tourism industry the new Davao-Singapore flight.

According to Marques, discussions are underway to establish direct flights between Davao City and Darwin, Australia, as well as to destinations in India.

These additional routes aim to further increase foreign tourist arrivals in Davao City.
