AirAsia Philippines Partners with Henann Group of Resorts

Aviation Updates Philippines - Budget airline, AirAsia Philippines, announced its partnership with Henann Group of Resorts in order to promote Henann Group's world-class hotels and resorts in Boracay, Bohol and Palawan.

With the new partnership of the two companies, AirAsia designed a new livery for its Airbus A320-200 aircraft. The livery was painted with a bright blue and the logo of Henann Resorts on it. The aircraft's registration was identified as RP-C8972 which will be flying to and from the Philippines' popular destinations.

The ceremony on August 21 was attended by the airline's Chief Executive Officer, Atty. Joy Cañeba; Director of Henann Group of Resorts Dr. Henry Chusuey, media personnel, family and guests of Henann Group of Resorts and AirAsia's passengers.

"We are thrilled and honored to carry a homegrown luxury resort brand that does not only proudly promote the Philippines but also values a strong, innovative service culture, which are also the hallmarks of AirAsia’s brand of service,” Cañeba said during her speech.

“This synergy aims to bring more tourists into the country and offer them to experience the Filipino brand of excellent service,” she added.

Meanwhile, Henann Group of Resorts is also getting ready to formally launch its new resort property in Panglao Island, Bohol on August 22. “Our partnership with AirAsia, a globally recognized brand, is anchored on a shared commitment which is to deliver value and the best quality service,” Dr. Chusuey said.

AirAsia currently flies three daily flights to Tagbilaran, Bohol. The airline will be having a promo offer for its flights to Bohol for only P688 starting August 24 to September 6.

AirAsia also had a partnership with Solaire Resort and Casino. The partnership also created a unique livery for AirAsia's aircraft. Solaire is the first company in the country to brand a commercial airline, in order to promote tourism in the Philippines and in Asia.
