The Boeing 737, a twin-jet narrow-body airliner designed for short to medium haul range, has the distinction of being the first commercial airliner to reach this impressive milestone.

Rewinding a bit, the 7000th Boeing 737 was delivered to flyDubai on December 18, 2011. This aircraft, a Boeing 737-800 Next Generation, was the 21st addition to its fleet. At that time, flyDubai had an outstanding order for 30 more planes.

This delivery of the 8000th Boeing 737 not only represents a significant achievement for Boeing but also underscores the enduring popularity and demand for this iconic aircraft.
